| | CLR Via C# - Second Edition Author(s): Jeffrey Richter
Content Type: CLR This book is an absolute must read for anyone that wants to get into the detail about how the CLR actually works under the covers. Jeffrey Richter explains all of the ins and outs of the common type system, garbage collection, concurrent execution, asynchronous processing, and much more. After months of architecture specific research I found myself needing a refresher on how these APIs worked in the lower levels of the .NET framework. This book is exactly what I needed!

| | Essential Windows Workflow Foundation Author(s): Dharma Shukla and Bob Schmidt
Content Type: .NET 3.0 I just picked up this book in early November of '06, not shortly after this book hit print. I'm actively looking for new material coming out on the .NET 3.0 bits and this was one of the earliest. I am hoping to find a lot deeper detail about the implementation of WF and how the more complicated patterns can be implemented using this new framework for workflow.
