I am sitting here getting ready to go to work and I thought I'd go ahead and write a quick blog entry. In the past that would have been a real pain in the a@@ because I was managing my blog with a static XML file that I had to go in and make sure to do all the correct encoding or it would blow up on SOAPitStop. It was really annoying, I can't believe I waited this long to create a real blog with a real engine.
I ended up using community server because of the advice I got from my Jax buddy Marshall Harisson. It was a GREAT idea. It took me about a week to re-skin it to preserve my look and feel but now I have all the great features you would expect with a blog/community site.
So what can you expect now, well I will definately start blogging. It's as easy as writing an email and I love to write emails (there is sarcasm there if you didn't pick up on it). Seriously though I did skip over a bunch of interesting things and I will make sure to backfill in my blog with information about my TechEd 2007 speaking experience, my MVP Summit experience in Redmond and a host of other things that have been going on in WCF/SOA land.
If you're just coming into the site please have a little patience, I'm still cleaning up some of the sub views and I don't have all the features (forums, photo galleries, downloads) populated yet but I will soon enough. I just couldn't wait any longer to get my blog updated. Register as a member and let me know if you want to join SOAPitStop as a SOA blogger!
