New Article Goes Live in The Microsoft Architecture Journal.

Through the review process of the first article written for The Architecture Journal (see the articles section on SOAPitStop.com or for detail), another article topic was discovered. One that talks about how to use architecture driven development and factory like strategies to deliver consumable enterprise components. This article titled "A Foundation for the Pillars of Software Factories" was added to the latest Architecture Journal whose theme is "Software Factories". I look forward to any and all comments.

Article Summary: The complexity involved in designing and developing solutions has increased dramatically over the past 30 years. As your application portfolio evolves, there are process strategies that can help your organization overcome the problems that plague software development today. Promoting reusability by adopting production line methodologies will ensure broader success of the systems delivered using these processes. Reusability rarely happens by accident, and using strategic processes like architecture-driven development will make discovery of reusable components an intentional step as opposed to an opportunistic one.
