Windows Communication Foundation: Steroids for your Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture (Part I)

Part one of my two part series on Windows Communication Foundation has been published at Acitve Software Professional. This article comes complete with a code demo that shows all of the new configuration files used to create and invoke a WCF service. Special thanks goes out to all those Microsofties that did the Indigo Road Show (Richard Turner, Ami Vora) as much of my information comes from the probing I did during that event. Also the local evangelist group that brought the Road Show to Tampa ... you guys rock (Joe Healy and Jeff Barnes). I would also like to just put a quick promo out there for David Pallmann's book titled 'Programming Indigo'. This book gave me much of the information I used to formuluate my opinions found in this article. Thank you All!

New Content Online ... Book Reviews!

I have been looking for some more interesting content to add to SOAPitStop.com and I just came up with one. The new section I'm referring to is the 'Books' section. In here you will find the books I'm currently reading, those I have bought but not started reading yet, and those that I have recently finished reading.

Those books that I have finished reading I will do a mini-review on so if you think it might interest you buy it. For all the other books I'll put in some description on why I either bought it what I think of it so far. For your convenience I have added links to Amazon.com for any of these books. I'll be updating these probably on a monthly basis as I finish books and start new ones.

I do have some other new content you can expect to see before the end of the year. I will likely be adding some feedback capabilities on my blog so we can get 2-way communication going without having to write me an email. If you have some other thoughts for content please send them my way!
